ServErie, a ministry of Grace Church, is always willing to connect volunteers with a cause. Their service comes from the heart and always with a smile. Community of Caring was a distribution site for Turkey Dinners for Thanksgiving.
ServErie was there bright and early to deliver and unload 200 Turkeys from Second Harvest Food Bank and all the fixings. A shining example of team work as they worked alongside Community of Caring staff and residents to get everything ready for pickup. Two hundred families left that day with smiles as they picked up their Thanksgiving Dinner.
Spreading hope and cheer continued through the Christmas Season as Community of Caring was honored and grateful to be the recipient of the items collected by Grace Church and ServErie at Christmas at the Warner, a Community Christmas Celebration. Those that attended brought paper products, cleaning products and personal items such as toothpaste, soap and shampoo for the residents at Community of Caring. Such a blessing for our residents. Your generosity was heart warming and to you we give out thanks.
