Emergency Shelter
Community of Caring provides emergency shelter to homeless single adults. We offer a safe place where homeless adults can get shelter and a fresh start with compassion and respect. Services are given based on need and without regard to race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation.
Residents receive a safe bed, bathroom, and laundry facilities. They also receive three hot meals daily. We provide connections to other services to help them reach their goals, usually permanent housing, and a stable income.
Residents must follow simple standards of behavior and are expected to participate in the community by doing chores. They are expected to contribute $110/month in shared expenses if they have income. People with food stamps share a portion of their monthly allocation to help defray the cost of meals.
If you are experiencing a housing emergency,
