“How Can I Help” is a countywide campaign that intentionally creates a culture of kindness, civility, and helping across Erie County – from school children to elected officials, from faith communities to local businesses.
The transformative power of a simple act of kindness can change our world when we look around and ask “How can I Help?”
ROOTED IN LEGACY
The Mayor of the City of Erie and Community of Caring will be announcing this campaign to honor the legacy of Mother Kennedy, the Founder of Community of Caring, on what would have been her 100th Birthday. Mother Mary Beth Kennedy founded Community of Caring in 1983 with one unwavering belief: “Love can change the world.”
Her legacy touches people through shelter and hope Community of Caring continues to provide.
